The Red Hot Chili Peppers Live Archive is the most comprehensive and extensive guide to every single performance by the band from the very beginning to the present day.

The archive is organized yearly. After selecting a year, clicking an entry displays all the information regarding that particular performance from the date, venue, location, setlist (if known), notes (support, headlining or other acts and attendance numbers whenever they're officially published) and media (scans, tickets, flyers and newspaper clippings). Followed by some stats about the particular performance and the songs performed and the lineup that performed it. Some might also have a picture gallery or reviews.

Finally, a recording is added to the Live Archive when it contains at least a full song from the performance, labeled by source name and number followed by the equipment used for recording and the lineage for the best transfer in circulation. Audio sources are audience, soundboard and matrix (various sources combined into one) and video sources are amateur, professional and mix (amateur multicam from various sources). They are numbered by source in the order they surface. A subnumber (#1a, #1b, etc.) is given, for example, when there's another broadcast that features different songs. It has to contain at least a full song not available on the previous broadcast, otherwise it's considered an incomplete broadcast of an existing recording. A new number (#2, #3, etc.) is given when there's another broadcast that features different camera shots or audio mix. If the exact same recording is rebroadcasted, it's not considered a new entry but rather a different transfer. Most audio recordings are available to download or listen as long as it's not copyrighted media and some video recordings can be watched.

We try to be as accurate as possible and keep our information reliable so submissions, corrections and feedback are always welcome. The archive only lists performances by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, check the list of excluded performances.
