Galain22: I just read stories on Frusciante shows and I have to say I disagree with most of them. I drove 4 hours through thunderstorms and flooding to see Nuttstalk '97 in San Antonio a week ago and it was well worth it. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and John completly blew me away. The Thelonius Monster set was bad ass and John's solo set was amazing. I prefer soul to corporate polish (bullshit trained singers) anyday and John plays with his heart. I am sick of hearing "John struggled, banging away at his guitar like a... etc." Has anyone ever seen any old Chili Peppers videos? He always did that. Well, sorry for taking my frustration out on you, but I really enjoyed seeing him and he is still as inspiring as he was back in the Peppers days.
